Does anyone know what the mileage base for the average fuel economy calculator is? It seems to change too quickly to be a purely cumulative calculation from the last reset. Optional Oil Filter?
I just did my first oil change. I must say I was surprised at how small the filter is. I used a NAPA Gold, which should be made by Wix. I think I'd feel better with a bigger filter, even though I'm sure the engine has been tested sufficiently with the OE one. Is there a longer version that...- gzig5

Block Heater
After a little research it seems there are multiple variants of the heater/cord over the last few years depending on the year and which engine. Mounting location may have changed too. Looks like the parts should be about $100 but they haven't made it easy to find the specific one for the 2020...- gzig5

Anyone Ordered a TRX?
There is a lot more difference on a TRX than just the motor over a standard chassis RAM. Especially if you were to use it as intended, off road. You can get a take out Hellcat motor for ~10-12k if you look. Those things seem to crash pretty often. I almost bought one for my 73 Cuda...- gzig5

Tire choices- staying stock size
The Cooper AT3 are getting good reviews. I had the older version on my last truck and got good wear, low noise, and good snow traction. The newer design is supposed to be better. The AT3 XLT comes in an E rating.- gzig5

What's your gas mileage with 3.92 gearing and the 5.7?
I had 500 miles on my 2020 Laramie, 3.92 E-torque, Off-Road package when we left for Waco, Tx from Milwaukee last month. A week and 3600 miles later we got back home. The trip odometer calculator showed 19.1 MPG average for the entire trip. That is a lot of highway at 75-80+ mph and a bunch...- gzig5

Simple Mud Flaps for 2020 Ram 1500 Limited
I went with Husky on my '20 Laramie. Got the extra screws in without removing the rear tires by using a short, right angle drill attachment. Or you can drill from the back. Where that screw goes is not mission critical. The tape they supply sticks to the truck better than the flap, probably... -

The trouble closing the cover might be the adjustment of the tensioners, up by the front of the side rails? Mine closes OK, but those great big gaps at the ends of the gate let a lot of water in. The gate is pretty far from the bed on the sides. -
