    Brakes

I want to add that I think the factory pads use a harder friction material designed for longevity and in doing so the pads may be very tough on the rotors. My new PowerStop pads bite much better, and also dust my rims quicker, which will probably mean shorter pad life.

    Time for brakes

I just did PowerStop pads on my truck with some Napa rotors. Noticeable difference in braking performance.

All-Terrain tire life on HD trucks

You have to really pay attention to air pressure. With the stupid TPMS light setting everyone who's driving an empty 3/4 or 1 ton truck is driving around on overinflated tires. I really liked the feature on my old 2010 Ram 2500 that had a button for "light load" so you could run a lower a tire...

    Brakes

I just did the brakes on my 2015 Power Wagon with a tad over 60,000 miles. It has all the same components as your truck and I live in southeastern Massachusetts so we get some snow. My rotors had some pitting also but not like yours. The metal backing plates on the pads themselves had rusted...

    New power wagon for me

Patriot Blue Power Wagon- Awesome! Plum Crazy Scat Pack Charger- Awesome! A decent photo of either one- Major Fail! As a punishment you need to go out and get some good photos of both. Preferably with the Wagon flexing and the Charger burning tires. If you produce those pics we shall forgive...

    Mobil 1? Why not?

I have a lifetime warranty and don't want any trouble with it being honored in the event of an engine failure. Therefore, I run Penzoil 0W40 on a 5,000 mile change interval. No other oil is certified to meet the proper MS-12633 spec set forth by Ram. Amsoil claims their Signature Series 0W40 can...

A lot more engine noise-manifold bolts?

Hopefully it's not the dreaded lifter failure.

Suspension Tire (tall) / Wheel Package “15” CTD 2500

Let me start off by saying sorry about the loss of your Brother Firefighter. Secondly I'd recommend looking into a company like Carli or Thuren for your suspension needs. By utilizing their front springs you’ll gain a some lift but also improve ride quality. You shouldn't need to touch the rear...

    What brakes you guys running?

I just did the front brakes on my 2015 Power Wagon today. My original intent was just to get some better braking performance from the PowerStop pads I've heard so much about. The stock pads still had at about 50% material left but when I pulled apart the front I was glad I decided to do this...

    2021 75th Anniversary PW Ordered

It's not just Ram. My buddy ordered a Super Duty Tremor in early march and his dealer kept stringing him along saying it would be built soon. They finally let him know last week that due to dealer allocation his truck was now going to built as a 2022 model year. Unfortunately production doesn’t...

Question on Replacing Serpentine Belts on 6.4 Dual Alternator.

My truck is coming up on 6 years old and just over 60,000 and I'm going to be doing a front to back fluid and filter change on my truck. I was thinking about swapping the engine belts out as well and keeping the old ones for spares. I'm going to be doing some off grid overlanding and want the...

    Tire time

I considering new tires at the moment as well. Probably going to be Toyo AT3 or Falken Wildpeak AT3W. I've had great luck with Toyo's so probably go with them again.
