Well that’s why I send my oil to lab for analysis , I believe that should find any metals in it before it even shows on magnet.

So had a little bit of extra time today
So I installed noco power plug and pulled 110v to engine bay to power up battery maintainer and battery warmer and engine block heater with option to have them to be powered individually or all at once
And something to speed up oil changes [emoji106]
There is company out there making harnesses that can be connected between your automatic darkening mirror and will give you 12 V power , don’t remember the name but I know they’re primarily made for radar detectors.

Thanks for your respond, I have friend coming today with his 1500 and I’ll compare this brackets as it seems this don’t fit my 2500 so there is probably difference in them. Will report back later.

Not really , when you look at the picture with back of the cover you’ll see on tapes that it’s barely touching the screws, it seems that 1500 has different latches or screws are more recessed in them because even if I’ll double the double sided tape for them to hold on they are still sticking...

Where the shiny spots are heads of the screws are hitting first before tape has a chance to grab and when i press it in not much of a tape sticks
And this is how it looks like “installed” it sticks out so much you can’t close doors...
Where and how much of a double sided tape was on yours? On mine there is about 3/8” thin strip of tape on short sides of the covers. I’ll go to the truck again in little bit in I’ll take pictures of what I’m talking about
