    I think the standard output i6 turbo will be a fantastic upgrade to the Hemi. It can get the fuel economy of the Pentastar V6 and can make more power than the Hemi. Looking forward to driving one.

    I have a ‘22 4th gen v6 with 3.55 gears and it’s great. I don’t tow much but carry some dirt bikes with it and use it as a daily driver. Had the Hemi before this and while it made a lot more power, I didn’t need it and prefer the better fuel economy, and no mds vibes.

    Yes I thought so too. However my 2022 4th gen Classic v6 build sheet shows I have the 850, which is why I started this thread, as I too expected to find the 845 in there. However if you opt for the Hemi in the 4th gen, you’ll still find the older 8hp70 on the build sheet.

    Are you sure? The wiki page for the ZF8HP transmissions states the 2nd gen trans came out in 2014 and had a 7.8:1 ratio spread. Then in 2018 the 3rd gen 8HP was released and had an 8.6:1 ratio spread. Those release dates seem to fall in line with the 845 and 850 from Chrysler/RAM as well.

    8hp70 shifting issue.

    Might be your torque converter locking too soon and then unlocking, feeling like an upshift and then a downshift. Perhaps try resetting transmission adaptations and see if that helps.
