Gear Ratios on the 1500
I've owned both and towed 7,000 - 8500# with them. The 3.92s pull hills better. The 3.21s are adequate on the highway. My 3.92s were on a truck. with 33" tires and the 3.21s have a 35" tire. The 3.21s do end up downshifting more, but neither is going to pull a 6% grade in overdrive with an...- hutchman

Did you buy a Gasser or a Diesel?
I bought it the third week of March, and promptly left on a trip to the Midwest. The rate of mile increase should be reduced from here on out. May be getting a new Scat Pack this week which will further reduce the rate of increase on the truck!- hutchman

Tonneau Covers and BedRug Bed Mat
I have an Access Vanish tonneau cover on mine. It was for a 2018 and it fits perfectly. I have a he rubber bed mat in mine from a 2018 and it fits perfectly. The transfer case is shifted by the stick/shifter on the floor. I do not have the Offroad Package. The exhaust is a Magnaflow strait through muffler with a resonator delete. It does seem to be as tall as the 2016 PW, but I cannot measure the PW as I no longer have it. These new trucks are...- hutchman

The 8 speed works as it should....seamlessly. It keeps the engine operating at about 1750 RPM at 45, 55, and 65mph steady state. I'm at almost 5000 miles now averaging 15.4 on Fuelly.
