2023 Camping Season, what are your plans?
I came back just to visit the camping thread. Sold our fifth wheel and 2500 May 1st after almost 3 years of full time RV-ing, it was time. My intent was to buy an old Chevy truck but instead got a 67 ElCamino. 350/TH350 that I can actually work on :) Anyway, looks like some great camping going...- Irishthreeper

After 30 months and about 18,000 miles of travel my wife and I are giving up full time RV-ing. We got see so many beautiful places and met great people. Sold the ‘21 2500 to a dealership for 89% of what I paid new and the 5W probably goes next. I’ve enjoyed the camping threads more than any...- Irishthreeper

Has anyone checked the KBB value of their Ram lately?
I just sold my ‘21 2500 Tradesman to a dealership for about 90% of what I paid new. That was $3K above the upper end of what KBB listed for trade in.- Irishthreeper

Further evidence of dumb people: I’m selling my ‘21 2500 Hemi and there was a lady in the RV resort that was interested in it. They just bought a new 5W but don’t have a truck yet since they’re here for a year. Anyway, my truck has a 17k lb tow limit, 3060 lb payload and GCVWR of 23k lbs. She...- Irishthreeper

What’s your favorite flavor of cordless tools?
Dewalt 20V. The circular will even cut through a 4x4 with 2 passes nicely. With the vacuum I can do my truck and wife’s car on one charge. The only thing I don’t like is the ion batteries give little warning before they quit. Also love the driver and impact driver.- Irishthreeper

RV Towing Newbie
I looked at a “half ton towable” 5W 3 years ago and the hitch weight alone was listed at 1550 lbs. Fill you propane tanks and you’re already maxing out most 1/2 tons.- Irishthreeper

Great advice on here. I can tell you that the 5.7 with 3.92’s will not only pull your rig well but when not towing can blow the doors off many a sport sedan :)- Irishthreeper

2023 2500 Bed Protection
I’ve had 5 trucks with spray in liners, including my ‘21 2500 that came with MOPAR spray in. I’ve never had a chip, ding or problem in any of them and that was with gravel, pitchforks removing mulch, hauling lumber, etc.- Irishthreeper
