Looks like the government can't protect everyone from Darwinism. Hopefully you will wise up 1st. I to enjoy fast vehicles BUT commonsense HAS to be applied.
Years ago I had this problem with another truck. My solution was very simple,I just bolted two steel bars over the rear axle. They were 1x6 plus it leveved the truck.
Forgive me for not thanking you back in 19 on this. But sadly 2 hhours after I wrote this I went to buy the window. An idiot on his cell phone ran a red light and put me in the hospital the RAM in the avatar was totaled . I honestly did not remember writing this until now when I saw on my post...
As long as it is paid for I would be proud of it. If it is not what you want it to be you can always make it your goal to get it where you want it to be. Plus in the end you will really be proud of it. Honestly reading about your truck you already have a GREAT start.
I have 171k miles on my 2011 RAM and have had no problems at all. Just happens to some and others it doesn't. Sorry you are having trouble but once it is up and going again enjoy it to its max.
After buying my 19 Classic it was only then that I did not care as much for my 11 Sport. It is a good truck but electric steering, 8 speed trans, and a bit nicer interior the Classic wins. Now that I just bought a 23 Classic the 11 Sport is going to find it's way into someone else's garage.
For the mileage you are claiming I am getting better on the highway at 77. Now in the city of course you are kicking my butt on mpg's BUT for the power I have and the enjoyment I get I am STAYING with my hemi.
