Tires?
I’m looking to up the size of my tires. I got a 2006 Ram 1500 mega cab. Got 285/70-17 on there now and want to put 315/75-17 on. I know they may scrub a little when fully turning the wheel, my concern is the height. Before I drop the $$$ just looking for some info. If any of y’all have put these on. -
RTV Dry time
There were no directions written on the tube that came with kit. Only dry times. The tube said to assemble parts within 5 min of applying 15 min to skin 1 hour to dry and 24 hrs to cure. So I figure the best guys to ask are the ones who maybe have used it before.- JaredK

RTV Dry time
No leaks so far. Seems to be sealed up for now. Ive only driven about 75 miles since the oil was added.- JaredK

So my manual calls for 6.6 quarts. I added approx. 5.5 qts. Drove it and had to added another quart. It’s been about 7 days and approx. 300 miles and I’ve just added another quart. I’m about 7.6 qts and it’s not leaking. So could the fluid amount be a little more than it calls for? Is this extra...- JaredK

I drove it about 6-8 miles after changing it and checked. Added about 1 quart. Drove approx. 100 miles checked it seemed ok. Transmission Issue
Update. Added about 1 quart of ATF+4 and seems to be shifting ok now. Is it normal to have the oil drop down a quart or so after driving it a few hundred miles after an oil and filter change?- JaredK

Transmission Issue
45RFE transmission When I shift into drive my truck is not starting in 1st gear. Feels like I’m in 2nd possibly 3rd gear. I did a recent oil and filter change. Checked oil level and it’s Just below the bottom dot on the HOT indicator. Any suggestions will help me correct this.- JaredK
