Thanks to this post, I checked the filter that my son installed in September and it was the wrong one. I never got a code though, after approx 2500 miles.
Just put the correct one from Geno's in today!
That is correct. Mine lasted a couple months. But i bought some green led strip lights to replace and they are much better.
The steps themselves have been flawless for almost 3 years.
You should also look at Aries power steps. I installed them on my 2500. It gives you 2 steps, which the wife needed before and after her hip replacement.
I ran a VW Rabbit diesel pickup for a few years and the owners manual described putting gas into the tank when temperatures were low. From what I remember it was something like 25%. They used a pretty low pressure Bosch VE pump. I never ran gas in though. I never would today either.

The company I worked for was and still is the single source for steering intermediate shafts for certain vehicles. It’s a long process to get approval and in my experience they don’t dual source per vehicle platform, although there are other suppliers for different platforms.
