    Idle RPM

    A 5.7 Hemi's PROPER idle range is 600-625rpms, while in gear, and at a full stop. One person above, said 800rpm's is the proper range (TOTALLY INCORRECT). If your 5.7 Hemi is idling at at 800rpm's or higher, then your having either a fuel/air delivery system issue or your Cataletic Converters...

    YES...............but it costs far to much just to gain 2-3mpg. Replace the ECM and install a new one with no MDS, then replace all of the MDS lifters and regular hydraulic lifters with SOLID LIFTERS. 16mpg is the average for a 6500/7000lbs 1500 RAM with a 5.7 Hemi.     Max speed in 4wd high

    My wife's 5th Gen 2019 RAM 1500 4x4 Bighorn, in the owners manual, says NOT TO EXCEED 25mph in High and NOT TO EXCEED 10mph in LOW. If you do, the computer kicks in, and brings you back down. Dealership confirmed that is EXACTLY what it is designed to do.

    Did you ever get the message (FOB NOT DETECTED)...............if so, there are either LED lights in the truck (cab / tail lights or 3rd brake light) or in your house, emitting Frequency Interference for the FOB/Push Button Start Switch on your truck.

    Well, half the camshaft battle...

    Had that happen to my wifes 2011 RAM 1500 5.7......#5 Intake Roller Lifter seized up, grinding the lobe completely down on the camshaft. Strange thing is, the ECM throws a "MISFIRE CODE" when this issue occurs. You never get a KNOCK CODE or any other code.
