    Mopar Lifetime Maxcare Warranty Question

We have this on our 15 200 and it is $100 per visit no matter one or multiple complaints. Last time ours was used was for a leaking strut and gas cap light. Gas cap was fine, a switch of some kind related was bad. Expensive fix for both, as both were not available, and car was not drivable...

    Dependable.....I think not

A little late to the game, but interesting to read this now coming out the other side of this COVID. Or at least I hope. My wife's Chrysler 200 has been at the dealer for 2 months now for warranty. Driving a loaner that Chrysler extended warranty is paying for and nobody has any idea when the...

    Australian 4th Generation modifications

I watched with great interest some video of the conversion company. Quite impressive. They really have taken over a little where Australia lost their own manufacturing. Lots of quality work goes into it all. One question is radio frequencies. Are they same down there? Is there reprogramming...

OMG!! Tires, Promise, not the usual which one ?

A little late to the game maybe, but I just had the Conti terrain contact at's put on my '18 4x4 a few weeks ago, and have the terrain contact ht's on the Yukon XL. Different vehicles yes, but both do extremely well on the highway. Haven't done anything off road to speak of and likely won't, but...

    Tire rotation pattern RWD/4x4

I've done just the opposite on every vehicle I've owned for over 25 years. FWD, RWD and 4X4. Always had even tire wear, with the exception of course of alignment problems. Easy to remember, and not having to do different for different vehicles. Had a tire shop give this advice first time I...

    Poor tire wear. Suggestions

Not sure if I may have missed some discussion here, but, before bambi interfered, no unusual tire ware, after bambi, left front only on outside, sounds like something went wrong with alignment. I had unusual tire ware on a 200 and the Chrysler dealer checked alignment 3x and reported perfect...

    4x4 question.

Armygrunt, probably a good idea to shift into each selection and back out a few times per year just to make sure everything keeps moving, and working properly. Same with parking brake. Just a little advice I think most on here probably agree. Helps make those trips to the glovebox easier...

Are NGK and Mopar spark plugs the same?

I know it's in the book somewhere, but what is the recommended mileage for first plug change on these jeni's? I had a 5.4 triton in my ford before this truck, and the PO waited too long to change and I got stuck with the normal problems with them. Not that these will be as bad, but would...

Champ PH48 oil filter cut open

Not defending or making up fancy names, just listing facts about construction. I was friends with some of the engineers who designed those particular filters, as well as the automation that assembles them. There have probably been millions of them used since 2004 when production started. Sold...

Champ PH48 oil filter cut open

Technically a propratary nonwoven combination of nylon and "paper" fibers. Felt. They are ultrasonically welded to the media. All automated.

Champ PH48 oil filter cut open

I worked for champion labs for a long time. Those are a relatively inexpensive filter. I've had my hands on all of the equipment that made that one. They make tons of them. Mostly identical with various names on them. Made in USA is the best part IMHO

    Finally! A TRX in PAR

That's my color and I didn't know what it was about either. Lol. But no it doesn't look blue, almost black, but not quite.

    Battery felt padding

I usually do all my own work whenever I can because I don't trust others, but the last couple of batteries I've had to get replaced I had AutoZone install for me. But I held the flashlight. Lol. They don't charge, and they work in the parking lot where I can watch. But, enough about me, to the...

    Lost my Lifetime Warranty!

Just read the entire post, and it sounds to me like the dealer pulled a fast one. Somehow cancelled a warranty on a car not at all involved in the trade deal. Took the rebate, took the refund on the warranty after they got caught. Can't show any proof of customer acknowledgement. And now are...
