How many miles have you driven your eco diesel?
10,041 miles when the main bearings failed. Been sitting at the dealer for five weeks waiting for a new engine.- JHA_

I think I’m going to sell it and go with the 5.7 hemi. I don’t think I’ll feel comfortable knowing it could fail again, and I really don’t want to risk a long trip.- JHA_

Engine trouble
Mine is a 2019 Classic, so my understanding is that it’s a second gen EcoDiesel engine. It’s very scary and disappointing. Trying to figure out my options, including possibly selling it. I’m just not sure what the market is like. I like the Classic, but I’m not seeing many of them out there...- JHA_

Main bearings failed. Engine toast. New engine coming. Service guy said this is the fifth or sixth of these he’s dealt with. He didn’t say over what time period. I know this is a problem these engines can have, but it’s hard to tell how often it happens. Internet research is scary.- JHA_

Engine trouble
Two things happened today: my truck passed 10,000 miles, and its engine failed. I have a 2019 1500 Classic Laramie with the EcoDiesel. I was towing a boat up a hill when the engine started a loud clattering noise, but there were no warning or check engine lights. I hadn’t noticed any issues...- JHA_
