    Warranty is long gone. Only fix I have found is to unhook the battery for a couple of minutes. When I reconnect, the equalizer settings are flat lined, but at least the SXM presets are all still there... Thinking of replacing it with one that has a physical volume knob. Boy i sure do miss...

    What did you do with your 4th Gen this week?

    Put my snow shoes on the truck today. I found a set of 20x9 6 spokes for $450 so now I don't have to swap tires on the stock rims each season. Swapped the 275/60-20 Michelin Defenders for 305/55-20 Falken Wildpeaks.

    Spare Key Locations

    I got a spare flat key and put it in a magnetic box under the lip of the bed at the back. Never falls out. Always near if needed. NAPA cheap.

    Just sayin', I went from 66# 305/55 Falken Wildpeaks to 39# 275/60 Michelins and gained an instant 2mpg. Now the Falkens are for sale, at least until gas his $1 gallon again....

    Rear seat delete

    I put a full width sub box with two 10's in the cubbys, Then raised the seat about 3" and folded the back down to make a large shelf. Now I have room for 30 bags of groceries and no harm to my thumpers below. Still have seats if needed.

    I just replaced my latch. The handle has 4 plastic pins that should pull UP on the lower part.     Summer time so I took off the 66# 305/55-20 Falken Wildpeaks and replaced them with 275/60-20 Michelin Defenders at a paltry 39# ea. My son doesn't like the "grandpa" looking tires, but I will take the 2mpg increase. BTW, Falkens are FS for 1/2 list.

    What's your favorite muffler swap?

    Flowmaster 50HD. Nice rumble at idle. No drone. Can't hear it at freeway speeds (1700rpm) but the loud pedal is now there. Selective gear changes means I can keep it in 2nd / 3rd around town if I want to rattle windows. And it is a driveway bolt -in option.
