And I have been using dielectric grease on dc connections for many years and never had one issue with any of them ever. I also use deoxit when needed. Great product. That mostly on old amplifiers and such.
And BTW. The passenger tail light socket looked bad and was bad. Wiggle the bulb and it would go on and off. Dielectric grease MAY have fixed it but i never tried it.
Was at nappa to get center bulb. Picked up nappas chinese socket. Replace auto zones china socket with nappas china socket and all errors are gone. So yes. Cheap sockets can cause errors. I cant imagine why, but it is a fact.

I was going to get michelin defenders but got brand new take off SRA's for next to nothing. Mine have always worked great.
Plus they came mounted on stock 20" wheels. So I sold my 17's.
Well I had a tire shop install the Ebay OEM sensors. They popped on in only a few miles. All good.
I ran AlphaOBD and changed the tire size as well. Indicated speed matches GPS now.
Hmm whats next..
I got AlfaOBD for windows. Had to add a bluetooth USB device. Connects kind of flakey. I also got a Nexus 7 tablet which connects to the OBDlink+ easily.
So, I wonder which is the preferred platform. I need to change my tire size and I would prefer it go smoothly the first time.
