    2014 Interior into a 2011

Of course the shop manual for my 2011 highlights the use of Bosch CAN specification 2.0b but some genius thought that information wasn't relevant when they wrote the version covering the facelifted version of these trucks. The successor to CAN C was CAN FD which of course launched in 2012...

    2014 Interior into a 2011

So I've been digging through pages of wiring harnesses and the only place I forsee a major challenge is the bus connection from the PCM to the BCM. The rest of the updates appear to be pretty manageable, swapping out other wiring harnesses, and a lot of the stuff is internal to the cab, where...

    2014 Interior into a 2011

I recently gutted a refreshed 4th gen ram and am planning on swapping it into my pre-refresh 4the gen. I’ve been looking through posts and know there were major changes made during the changeover in 2013. I have everything from the interior, every module, harness, air bags, etc. I’m wondering...

    33 Gallons of Fuel?

AITA? Checked the window sticker — 35 gallons. Now I’m not sure why I was so confident it was a 32 gallon tank. Well ****, I just added 30 miles to my driving range

    33 Gallons of Fuel?

I don’t typically run that low — the 31.6 fillup was a rare instance and with the one from the photo above I missed the turn for the gas station I intended and a quick google check indicated I could make it. I usually like to run no lower than a quarter tank. Definitely would prefer to not...

    33 Gallons of Fuel?

I have a 32 gallon tank — 3500, 8ft bed, crew cab diesel. Is this gas station ripping people off? I’ve run pretty low (15 miles past “Low Fuel”), much more sketchy than this fill up where the DTE gauge had just switched to “Low Fuel” and never put more than 31.6 gallons in this thing.

    High county customs bumper

I take it there is no clearance for the IC on the diesel?

    Nope, stock height.

    Howling noise - Speed proportional

Just to close out for anyone who finds this in the future, it was indeed the driveshaft carrier bearing making the noise. You can squirt a bit of lube in there and go for a drive to see if the noise cleans up temporarily just to confirm.

Black housing quad headlight assembly that doesn't suck?

Splitting and painting your factory headlights is pretty easy as well.

    Winch mount

In my experience they also tend to be mounted pretty low which isn't ideal. Sounds like you need an aftermarket bumper. :)
