What happens if I push this button?
When mine was still in warranty, I had that unit replaced at least 3 times because it would stop working. I'm pretty much at about 80-90% of the time working also. It does help to hold for at least 2 seconds.- John Owen

No, it doesn’t work with Alfa. That only way is via an OBD plug called Tazer I believe. You should be able to search Tazer on here for more info. AZJohnnyO Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro- John Owen

I have used this method on almost every Jeep, RAM or other Chrysler product that I have rented or owned in the last 7 or so years. Probably 30-40 vehicles. This method has never failed. The only difference is that I unbuckle/buckle 4 times instead of 3. Not saying that is required, just the way...- John Owen

Most of the ones I’ve seen are LED and the basically come as one big “circuit board” for lack of a better term. Unless there is some sort of surge or electrical problem, the LED’s should easily last for the life of the truck. AZJohnnyO Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro- John Owen
