    I am the original owner of an 08 Ram 1500... The transmission has always felt like mush to me. I’ve heard a whine when I drive it hard in 1st gear. I wish there was a way to tell the trans computer to shift firmer.

    I am the original owner of a 2008 dodge ram 1500 4 x 4 quad cab. It only has 108,000 miles and has always had mushy shifts. Does anyone know how to connect with the transmission computer to improve shifting to a more firmer shift?

    My friend’s son went to college in Duluth, MN. In the engineering program. His friends did an internship at AMSOIL. The factory is in Superior,Wi. He said amsoil is mobile 1 with some extra additives.
