This is just another example of the dealers being less than helpful or less than honest to make money. They either know that this bezel is available or in the sad state we are in with parts guys ONLY knowing what the computer tells him and he didn't see the part being sold separately.
Had pretty much the same noise although NOT as bad as yours. Mine basically sounded like a baseball card in the spikes of my bicycle. This started after a long haul pulling mine close trailer with two large ATVS in it. I went through everything on the back , I started with rotating the tires, no...
I assume you purchased this truck as a private sale? As others stated. It can't hurt to take the truck to tire/mechanic center and have them spin up the tires to check balance. They will also notice any uneven wear indicating other issues. Also, when it's up on the lift, inspect the shocks and...
Just shop around and educate yourself on different features that you may like. Such as bed lighting (believe me you'll appreciate it) a LOT of leased trucks were bare bones of their model, version . My brother-in-law just purchased a Laramie at a dealership close by that I would have told him...

I use to drive tractor trailers and used to open my driver's door backing into tight locations on a regular basis. So out of habit I was left backing in a trailer with my 1500 and opened my and bamm it all stops and I had NO clue what had happened, that feature annoys the **** out of me! Lol
If your saying that everything is tight then I'd try spraying some lube onto the control arm bushing, sway bar link bushings. A lot of people have 'squeaky' suspensions and do this (even the stealerships do.
"floating" as in soft bouncing? Or like a boat floating in soft waves? The only thing that would cause that is bad shocks. Check the rear shocks and see if they are good. What year/model?
If you were able to weld the stud to it then take your time and twist the broken one out. The bolts are steel in aluminum head, you can weld on them all day and not ruin it. If I was able to extract numerous broken off exhaust manifold bolts you WILL be able to do this. Apply some PB Blaster and...
