I commute 110/mi/day so I was looking for something to improve engine efficiency too. I had the MOPAR CAI installed at the dealership, so that they could perform the 'tune' required to allow the gains we keep hearing about. 3 fill-ups later and I've not experienced any efficiency gains. I use...
Anybody having issues with the U05 recall not allowing you to shift out of park after the vehicle "auto parks"?
Pulling out of the in-laws' driveway this morning(decently high grade/slope), I shifted from R to D, went to gas to pull away from oncoming traffic and the car kept flashing "Park...
I'm glad this recall came out. Vindicates an issue I had a couple months ago. My 2017 Laramie had a load of baseboard trim & crown molding strapped into the bed. Dumped the whole load right after I left Lowes'. I was super pissed at myself since most of it was damaged when it dumped and then the...
I setup my old e46 BMW to run E85 (never saw anything advertised like your flex fuel pump) and it delivered more power with greater acceleration. Someone else mentioned that it burns like 100 oct and that was my experience. Fuel economy was worse, but that may be been from me "enjoying the...
I've always owned cars. Had an SUV once, way back when, but pretty much always cars. The wife has a crossover SUV(small vehicle). Our family was growing larger and we've been strapping more things to the roof of the cars as we've increased our DIY projects at home. We were first looking at a...
Thanks for that info!
The loss of ride smoothness is tapering my enthusiasm now. That's one of the reasons I went RAM in the first place was the ride quality. I do go "softroading" once or twice a month and wanted something that would provide a bit more control, but I do sit 100 miles a day...
Thank you @mohemipar & @corneileous
I'll need some new tires later this year(plan on running the stock Wranglers down before upgrading) and would really like all terrain. So those look like they might fit the bill. Quick check, they're spendy, but lately it seems anything worth having is...
Not sure I can claim all my highway miles as "highway" as I do a lot of sitting in traffic...
But, running 89 and traveling 104 miles/day I'm pretty consistent on 17.5mpg. I normally run with the MDS turned off too. I was finding that when I ran 87 if I'd coast, then press the accelerator again...
I've found that mine does the same thing going through 4th, 5th & 6th gears. Maybe not a physically jarring as yours, but audible enough that I notice it.
I've been thinking about swapping my '17 Laramie 5.7 Hemi for a '19 Laramie EcoDiesel....but I couldn't find any '19 trims that offered that engine?
Did I miss something?
