    Alphaobd

Are you sure you need to be messing around with your truck's brain? If you are asking about using the OBD and Alfaobd, yet do not know where to buy these or that Alfa doesn't work with Apple phones. That includes one post (@chopperman1) here suggesting that you do a bit more research. I...

    Need help! At wit's end.

Wow, you've changed out quite a few items, some of which are unrelated to your issue. Not necessarily related: Battery - if it's trying to start and turns over, it's not the battery. Starter - if it's turning over and without any audible 'clicking, it's not the starter. MAP and ECT - are not...

Who's sold their 4th gen lately?

How and when have you paid taxes on 'selling' a vehicle? I too am in TX and have never heard of such a thing. The state does not track when we 'sell' an item. Now when the buyer registers the vehicle, they will pay the sales tax.

    Fuel Pump Recommendations - 2011 Ram 1500 4.7 V8

Not really... The OEM fuel pump/sending unit are known for having an issue. My ask is are here recommendations for another brand/manuf that has improved the pump sending unit. As I said, she's gone though a couple pumps...all failing for the same reason.

    Fuel Pump Recommendations - 2011 Ram 1500 4.7 V8

I am working on my niece's 2011 Ram 1500 4.7l V8... :driver::grd:This is her third fuel pump in the last many years, as the sending unit is bad. What recommendations on a quality but not overpriced fuel pump? Yes -- I know the OEM is considered best.:cool: I am looking for a fuel pump...

Can the Cruise Control be turn on automatically with Alfa OBD?

Omg - I thought I was the only one who thinks the cruise on/off button was a wasted effort. I know to those many other people we might seem petty. I've been asking/wanting my Ram cruise 'turned on' (but not set it engaged) all the time. It's too bad Ram didn't consider that. Oh well...

    warped rotor under 20

Yup, unfortunately it does happen. Did the try to turn the rotors? On a lathe trying to remove metal, making them straight. The rotors might be worn beyond being turned. The mech would have to mic check (measure) the rotor thickness. Now is the time if you've considered upgrading your...

    Chin Spoiler??

In my opinion, that is more of an air flow diverter. It works too help circulate air into the engine bay. Aiding in cooling and removing gases / fumes from that area. Removing it, while initially probably won't cause an issue. I'd suggest leaving it, but other smart people might have more...

    Chin Spoiler??

Let's see pictures of your truck. Whether or not they are functional... I think they add some flare. To maybe help in your removal decision, let's see your truck.

    Beginner toolset suggestions?

Give the young man quality suggestions. Stop being like everyone else; bullying and trying to discredit someone who's comments you don't agree. You and I don't ever have to agree... People like you are one reason why I've considered deleting all my social media connections. I don't need to...

    Beginner toolset suggestions?

You're funny... Tools rarely let me down, they don't complain don't care if it's hot or cold. Mainly they only need a good cleaning and little oil. Oh and they don't eat or drink my beer.

    Beginner toolset suggestions?

Yes, unfortunately most auto makers are metric. You'll find a mixture, but more metric. I'm very lucky the fighter jets I work on are still imperial (SAE). Quality tools will never die; family legacy. I've got tools from my grandfather, born in early 1900s. He was a machinist on Navy ships...
