Get an oil sample and get it tested by Blackstone to see if you're oil was truly the cause? Was the oil worn out?...the oil lab test will let you know this. Also, call Mobil and ask them if the oil was appropriate for your vehicle? By law, you don't have to user MOPAR brand oil or all OEM...

I would have someone check if the EGR valve is the cause and I would take that to the dealer now. Get it replaced now and then have it done again when the part is ready for the recall. FCA should do it for free.
Did you try to create your own USB stick with the update and do it yourself? The over the air update didn't work for me but I had no problems doing the USB update on my 2016.

Definitely looks like a great truck! But the new 2020 Longhorn exterior two-tone colors are HORRIBLE though. Please FCA...FIX THAT IMMEDIATELY! I'll be waiting until 2021 for some better choices there.
