The dealer I bought the truck from took it to a CDJR dealer to get the GPS to work. (It showed the vehicle in the middle of a field in northern Missouri.)
The CDJR dealer tried a reset then an update and the radio locked up. No radio. No GPS. Nothing!!
As part of the deal on my purchase of a used 2015. The GPS was to be updated by the local CDJR dealer
In the process of doing the update the radio (8.4AN) locked up and will not restart.
I am told the radio will have to be replaced:mad:
Radio is $703 (Z8238619AL) and $170 for install and...
Well the transmission pan/fluid change is complete the truck shifts and runs great!!
Thanks for the information.
P.S. the wheels have been changed out to the 20" clad Laramie wheels since the first picture.
After they get the pan/filter changed. I plan to drain and refill with fresh fluid after a year or so just to dilute/improve the fluid quality in the transmission.
Agreed to split the cost to have the fluid changed.
Cost with all discounts over $650.00
Now waiting on Mopar to ship the pan.
Hope it is a new design with a drain plug.
Looking to buy a 2015 1500 Ram Laramie with 109k miles.
Asked deaker to change transmission fluid.
He says the transmission is "sealed" and there is no need to change fluid.
I don't have the owners manual yet. So is that true or BS???
