2018 Rebel with air suspension blowing fuse F05
Ram Forum folks, All right, it’s the wife’s Ram a 2018 Ram Rebel with all the bells and whistles including air suspension. A few weeks back it dropped down in front onto the bump stops. I reviewed the threads here and R&R’d fuse #F05 which was bad. I reset the suspension and all seemed fine...- kmrtnsn

DIY spray in Bed liner options/opinions?
raptor liner is a good product but keep in mind, the liner product is only 20% of the end result. Proper paint prep, adhesion prep spray, sanding material, tape, paper and paint cleaning materials not only add to the expense but to your time involved. Did bad shocks make these tires bald?
One worn more than other; tire spin. Cupping, bar wear better front tires; lack of rotation. Center wear; over inflation. -
Check those cooper tires and other tires if they are on the list
Two sizes seldom seen on Ram trucks. -

Tire Question
I’m running 285/70R17s on my ‘19 classic with no problems. It is a factory tire size for the Rebel. Your rims though are an inch narrower than recommended for that tire size. -
Salta’s & 35/37s?
Look at some of the new R/T tires that have come out, a blend of A/T and M/T. They’ll ride and wear better and be much quieter than the BFG KM3s. I just put a pair of Federal Xplora R/Ts on a trailer and am considering the Kenda 628 R/Ts for another truck.- kmrtnsn

Anyone with 4x4 1500 do you put weight in the back during winter?
The easiest potentially useful material to carry for winter weight is a couple of bales of hay. They’ll absorb water and get heavier and if you get stuck you can cut a band and you have ready to go traction material. In the spring cut the bands and add to a compost pile. -
Dual Tail Pipe Kit???? Or Go to Muffler Shop???

Regeneration=Burning Rubber Smell
my first thought is wheel bearings and/or cv joints. Anything in the wheel well, back of the wheel? We had a Subaru years ago that would cook the inner CV joint in heavy traffic.- kmrtnsn

Not a thing. The vehicle reads the wheel mounted sensor all by itself. As long as it’s the right model/frequency it’ll take care of itself.- kmrtnsn
