    I know this is an older thread but do we have an option to add a filter to these sealed boxed without too much of a pain? I'm one of those guys that drives trucks until the tires fall off lol.

    Light out error message on dash?

    If the light is flickering it could be the resistors are failing. This would also cause the canbus system to flag that light as out. Get a normal bulb and plug it in, see if it goes away. if it does you found the issue!

    My buddy had this problem shortly after an oil change. Ended up being a crappy oil filter. Put a good one on, problem solved!

    Well, to be honest, I know I can prob sell the tail light and for the price of a pedal commander, be worth the 2 mins to take it out I suppose. It's only 2 months old. Thanks for the advice guys!

    Alright. I got some bulbs with error resisters. I do have a question. Do you mount the resisters somewhere? Some instructions suggest they get hot and should be mounted to metal. Suggestions?
