    Yes, you can straight wire them. Just make sure to wrap the connectors with electrical tape, or use some other method to weather proof them.

    Most likely, one of the rods has popped off the locking mechanism, or the nader pin release. Is there anyway to see inside the door, where the pin is?

    Looks awesome. Check the driver's floorboard, and rear carpet, for water/dampness. Also, check the headliner for water stains, and the rear window frame, for cracks.

    I would have told them to cram it in their cram hole. Also, I would not let it go. Contact FCA, and find out if the story is legit. If it is not, the sales manager has some explaining to do. Contact the GM of the dealership, and let him/her know you're not happy.
