    Considering a new truck

Diesel are made to be driven lots of miles, and when it sits they developed leaks, and it seems like small problems that can lead to bigger issues and bigger problems... So the guy going out and hauling a lot of miles they make since. For me driving just to work and driving other vehicles it...

Who Still has a Life-Time Warranty in Effect?

Basically what I figured! and I would agree... And yes, you are correct about the ease of changing them. Honestly, I was surprised to see a few things listed and assumed there were loopholes... The house always wins in the long run...

Who Still has a Life-Time Warranty in Effect?

Exceed Repair value - I don't know the answer to this but I have seen more than one post over the year with people saying they where "cashed out" try searching the forum... Unfortunately, that is true, cosmedic is not covered. Wear items are not covered either. However, I always assumed...

    Second thoughts on fender flares..

Here are some pictures of the OEM 2500 fender flares. I know one of your concerns was rust hiding behind the flares. While that could be a problem. I don't think it really is. I'm not sure how many miles are on the Copperhead Pearl truck in that photo but it looks identical right now and...

    Second thoughts on fender flares..

OEM is my choice, but not the 1500. The front will not work on you Sport bumper. You need the 2500/ 3500 take offs.

Looks like I'm never buying RAM again...

And you have to run Premium fuel with the Turbo. I did not read every post here so sorry if this has already be brought up. With that said I did stop in a few weeks ago a drove a Jeep Grand Wagoneer with the Hurricane HO... NO V8 sound... I really want to go back in a try towing my trailer...

What's your thought on buying a new 2023 from the rust belt?

I know you bought it so you mind is at ease now. But for others that may search and find this thread Rust can be a problem for us that live in these areas. First few years you not have to worry about any rust. I'm near Chicago, so typically going North only makes looking for a vehicle that much...

    Considering a new truck

I know I have not responded this week, it's just been very busy... All is good just busy, both work and working on a fundraiser for a volunteer fire department. Just not find anything I really like or got to have right now. That alone tells me to wait and take things slow. Like I said I'm a...

    Considering a new truck

As the title says, I'm considering a new truck. With the towing I do a 2500 could be beneficial but my 1500 has worked fine for me so far. Even when towing the true benefit of a 2500 would only be noticed about 10% of the time. 90% of the time a 1500 would be fine. Of course you would notice the...

Dealer said No for transmission fluid change.

Did mine with the PPE pan and Mopar Fluid at 126,000. I tow a medium trailer about 5,000 miles a year (2 axles 7.5'x30' long enclosed, empty 3500LBS fully loaded 6680LBS). My dealer would do the job but we all know that is not cheap... Called a trans shop, they said no problem, but I ended up...

Should You Use Nitrogen in Your truck Tires?

Thats to funny, an inert gas in tires exploding...LOL Honestly, I'm surprised more people did not mention Costco free fill stations. I definitely would not pay for it. Heck, besides Costco, I have access to fill my vehicles up at work and only top the the tires off if needed and still use my...

    Jump Pack ?

Sounds like you may have pick up a GB40. I have really liked mine. I bought 2 last Christmas, and I'm glad I did! I also use it when snowmobiling, it has come in handy for charging cell phones... But the best use was when my son's alternator went out on his truck last year. I connected it and...

Headlight adjustment gone wrong 2017 1500 projector

Had the same thing happen with Lastfit LEDs for my 2013 about a year ago. I just needed to turn it a little bit moooooore... pop! I did get it eventually. I was able to use the factory covers but they are tight... I thought about ordering the extended dust cover but I've had no problem so, I...

    My Ram is gone

I had an '07 GMC Acadia which was bought new. I loved the car for the family but the engine was replaced at 36,250 miles due to a piston skirt failure. Then two transmission before 75K. After that it became my ex's problem at that point. At least everything was covered under GM's warranty. I had...

Orange Airbags Inside Rear Coil Springs

Because as stated above you are at the mercy of one airline, which means one leak takes the whole system down. Another thing to consider is there is not a check valve between the two bags. It is possible to overload one side take a turn causing the air to shift with the load between the bags...
