I grew up a Chevy fan, tried out a used Dodge Ram in 2005 and I've now owned two used 3rd gens, two brand new 4th gens, and I'm now on a journey in my first 5th gen. I've tried moving up a notch in each purchase.
My first Ram was a White 2004 Dodge Ram single cab 4x4 with manual windows and a 4.7L V8.
My second Ram was purchased a year later in 2006 after I'd tried backing a boat into the Red River and my truck couldn't catch traction on the slick bottom. This time I bought a Red 2002 Dodge Ram Quad Cab 4x4 with power windows and locks, but still had the 4.7L V8.
My third Ram was bought in 2012. It was a brand new 2012 Ram Express Sport Quad Cab. Base model but the sport package got me the color matched stuff, 20" wheels, and 5.7L Hemi.
My fourth Ram was bought in 2016, I decided to go a little more luxury and less sporty so I got a 2016 Delmonico Red Pearl Ram 1500 Crew Cab Lonestar with the power windows and driver's seat, 8.4" Uconnect touchscreen, etc.
My fifth Ram was bought in 2021, I decided to go back to sporty so I got a 2021 Flame Red Ram 1500 Laramie Crew Cab Night Edition with the 12.0" SiriusXM Guardian Uconnect with all power, EVS tracking, Harman/Kardon 19 speaker premium sound system, 22" wheels and nearly every bell & whistle, including the 5.7L Hemi e-Torque.
