I saw that too...wasn't sure if the "buckling" was from the manufacturer's process when making the base grip surfaces or not. They appear higher on the body than normal though...also could be distorted from internal pressure?- makrie

Now I've seen it all...
Actually, I've never experienced this issue before with any filter manufacturer and I've been changing my own since the mid 60's... I purchased a K&N to replace this one but not because I've lost faith in the manufacturer. I just liked the case design and specs a little more.- makrie

Finally got it done. :33: There appear to be two (2) updates. I got the 1st done by starting the download immediately while keeping the truck running. I was able to see the update install on the screen; typical progress bar on any computer... I thought I might be done but the radio still didn't...- makrie
