There is a Powerwagon package available with the Tradesman trim. It effectively makes it a Powerwagon without the appearance package and some options. But it still reduces the GVWR to 8575 or whatever it is.
I like that the Ram's wheelbase is shorter. A PW is 149" vs my current F150 that is 157" and a Tremor that is 160"
I would rather have the 7.3L and 10 speed though.
Yeah, <1500 lbs of payload in a 7000+ lb truck is kinda lame but its kinda how the whole 3/4 ton vs 1 ton is. Most of the time a 3/4 ton is the same as a 1 ton(especially the diesels), it just has an artificially low GVWR to skirt taxes. The Powerwagon is a much stouter truck than the door...
I think you and I are on the same page. My Lariat is pretty much fully loaded. I virtually never open the shade on my moon roof because the Utah sun will bake the interior. I dont care about leather(although heated seats are still on the want list) and I want a bench seat in the front.
Nice truck. I like the green a lot but not too many around it doesnt seem like.
How are the LED headlights? That is one thing I noticed that the Tradesman doesnt have and is probably worth any price increase alone. Crappy halogen headlights arnt fun.
