    It is a round connector. 7 pin. Yellow wire controls turn signals and I do NOT have a purple wire. That's where I'm confused. So it's something other than yellow or purple.

    You need an OBD dongle and a security bypass cable. You can get a Bluetooth model or wired dongle. Mine is Bluetooth.

    I installed the relay kit from 4 Wheel Electronics, the appropriate aux switch, hooked it up and all it needed was to be enabled through AlohaObd. Works great.
