    Just to add, I have a 2014 and had to do the same thing by unbolting and jacking the trans to clear. Same plastic internals interfering when trying to install.

    I did the gas cap, purge solenoid, vent valve, and just got done with a smoke test that showed no leaks. Final attempt is replacing the fuel pump this weekend.
