I had the Z36 rotor/pads installed on my 2016 Laramie back in May. A big improvement over stock to me. I had 60K on the original brakes/rotors. No issues with stock, just wanted to improve the stopping power of the truck.
I have been experiencing the same hard shifting from 1st to 2nd gear in the winter months and only first thing in the morning. I have over 63k on my 2016 Laramie and it started doing this around 30K.

Beautiful truck! Congrats! I just recently installed the Undercover Ultra Flex on my Ram and I love it. It came with a bed light too. I also swapped out my headlights and fog lights to HID. It is a big improvement over stock. Good luck!
