1500 vs 2500 for towing travel trailer (downhill)
I have a 32' travel trailer with a 6500 lbs dry weight... even though your trailer will be slightly smaller, you will have a 100% better towing experience with a 2500 vs a 1500. Even just driving down a flat straight stretch of highway, you'll feel a difference as soon as the wind starts...- MMiller

Rookie towing question. Weigh station requirements.
We've towed our 32' travel trailer through something like 29 different states and never stopped at a weigh station. There was only one place where, looking at the signs, it seemed like they might want RV's to stop?!? Either way, we just drove past and never had any issues.- MMiller

Is Yahoo trying to get people killed? I own a Grand Design Imagine 2800BH (the exact camper in the article). I've towed it all over the country with my 2500 6.4 Hemi. No issues whatsoever. White night edition…yah or nah?
Our 2500 is white with the night edition package. It's a beast. Nothing feminie about it and we get a lot of compliments about how slick it looks. Plus it matches our camper. The truck and camper combo looks great going down the road together.- MMiller

Towing a camper with my 2017 Ram 1500 hemi for the first time. What can I expect?
Agreed with many of the previous posts. With your current setup, you will be whiteknuckling it for 200 miles. The front end of your truck is going to be too light and wanting to wander in your lane. What equipment makes towing/ camping easier?
I picked up an Andersen Trailer Jack Block and a set of their EZ Blocks for the 4 corner scissor jacks. I've seen people hauling around all kinds of wood, cinder blocks, etc... to put under their jacks. I was told the same thing; the price we agreed to before ordering was locked in, but incentives from FCA were subject to availability upon delivery of the vehicle.
