looking for engines

ill double check the filter I replaced but this problem start about 3 weeks prior to changing my fluid. im seriously hoping its something simple and stupid that's causing these issues.- molinas hemi

bought a kit for my tranny flush so replaced the filters used ATF-4 fluid, 2 days later changed the solenoid. it check engine light will come on then go off 2 days later then come back on, so im still at a loss for words- molinas hemi

forgot to mention, that when I started it to drive to the auto part store to check what code popped up, I came to a stop and it died. it started right back up so I turned home to park it. anyone else have or having the same problem? now im more then confused why it did that- molinas hemi

worth a shot at this point, I wanna wait on taking it to a shop before I get ***** on labor charges, my other friend is rebuilding a motor at the moment so its gonna be a little bit before I get my truck fixed anyway, thank god I have my subie as my daily.- molinas hemi

all this started happening before the flush, o' reillys recommended a flush so I did that. the fluid was still nice and reddish-pink with no shavings or anything on the magnet. when I took out the valve body to replace the solenid everything looked good also. so it shifts fine 90% of the time, it mainly bucks/jolts when I speed up a hill going into 4th or when speeding up from a stop light itll happen. but if my tranny is bad, wouldn't I hear grinding or whining or something? I just replaced the solenoid yesterday but that didn't fix anything. it...- molinas hemi

im going to have my friend who has his own shop look at it before I go through with a new tranny, he looked at it before I replaced the kick down solenoid and said its probably that, he doesn't think I need a new tranny but I did what I could to avoid having to drop it so I guess ill go from...- molinas hemi
