I have a 2014 ED with 165k. I pull a 4000# trailer every week about 150 hwy miles. I don’t even know it’s there. At 75-80 I get 17-18 mpg. Last week I slowed to 65 and got 20 mpg. I was getting 8 mpg out of my Chevy 5.3 before I upgraded.
I have the v6 in my company pro master and I HATE it!!! Nooooooo power. Cruise control can’t get it up a hill. My 2014 ED is far far better in every way.
It’s worth the trip to get what you want. I drove 10 hours each way to get mine and I’m glad I did. I have the six speed and the eight speed in different vehicles. I wish they were both 8 speeds. It’s just a lot better.
I agree with another poster. It’s winter wait until summer before you get depressed. I have a baby diesel and have gone from 28 to 21 in the last couple of months.
I have an Ecodiesel and love it. However, I don't take it on short trips when I can avoid it. The good news is you just can't go wrong with a Ram. I think you said 99% 30 min hwy you would love the eco. Five miles back and forth to the grocery store and you will hate it.
Has anyone replaced the WIN module? If so where did you get it? How much? Was it hard? Can you reprogram with obd reader? Thanks
I have found a place in Texas that will repair it for $150. Doesn’t require new fobs or programming.
