Just took a second look at the Mopar parts list and it appears you may also need an oil filter adaptor and some seals to make this work.

I would like to do the upgrade but I would like to hear from other members if 1) The XG2 filter will fit with the cooler and 2) If the cooler actually makes a difference.
If anyone confirms that they do have this cooler on their truck then please let us know your thoughts.

I am from Northern Ontario and I am running into the same oil temp issues with my 2013 Ram running Redline 5w-20. My oil temp is hovering between 168F and 170F after 1 hour of mixed driving in the winter.
Did you ever figure out what was causing your issues?
Does anyone on here have these exhaust tips from Jamo Performance for the 4th Gen Ram? They look like 5” tips and are direct bolt on.

I just bought 4 gallons as well! I also picked up a few Fram XG2’s since they were on sale.
I went with 5w20 though. The cold start piston slap with the 5w30 redline was concerning. I decided since I have a 180 tstat that 5w20 would act like a 30w due to the colder oil temperatures I see.
