My Hellcat block ended up having a plug put in where the sensor went when it was rebuilt and the shop doing the install must of not caught it. After looking closer I spotted it and got my new pressure sensor installed.
That must be it then. I bought the hellcat bottom end used then had it rebuilt. This shop missed many things I am now fixing so it wouldn’t surprise me if they just plugged that port and didn’t transfer my sensor over.
Where is the oil temp sensor located at for a 5.7 Hemi? I had a Hellcat bottom end swap done and the oil temp is not reading anything. Trying to track it down and see what the issue is.
Thank You
Thanks for the research. I know it won’t just plug in but if it will at least mount and drop in that’s the biggest hurtle IMO. Might go ahead and buy a TRX canister.
Has anyone tried or know if the TRX fuel pump canister will at least drop into a ram 1500 classic fuel tank? I have a 17' Ram 1500 I'm getting a Hellcat bottom end installed along with a Hellcat cam and ported Eagle heads. If a TRX canister would drop in that would be a cheaper upgrade to make work.
Does anyone know the correct part number for the OEM size ATI harmonic balancer? I’m getting ready to put a hellcat bottom end in my Ram and don’t want to increase boost for now until I upgrade the fuel pump.
Thank You
Do you know the part number you ordered for the overdrive pulley? I got a good deal on a hellcat short block. Plan is to bump the boost up once it’s in.
I didn’t get a video but the truck surprised me yesterday. I raced a new A8 6th gen camaro 3 times. First run he got the jump and I pulled back and let out at his door. Second and third run was from 50. 50-105 I pulled 2 1/2 cars and let out since it was middle of the day. Pretty proud of this...
Sweet build! I scored a used Hellcat short block for $3,500. Pretty happy with mine. I’m at 10.5 psi on the stock short block and E85 at the moment.
