    Thermostat stuck open temp

Let it idle for a while with the rad cap off. That should get any remaining air out of the system. Also feel free to pull the thermostat and drive without it. If you are in the southern part of the country you don't really need it. That should tell you if it is a thermostat problem or something...

    stock cam rebuild

Even with an MDS delete "kit" the ECU is still cutting fuel to those cylinders under light load. Any major modification to the engine you make you MUST tune, tune, TUNE!

    NEW HEMI!!

Spectre intake tells me all I need to know. That's pep-boys quality tuner crap which belongs on a Honda. Seems like you've got plenty of money to throw at the problem, so do it right.

Stellantis’ new Ram pickup is an EV — with a gas-powered generator in case the battery runs out. The end of the Hemi???

Issue with that logic is government mandates are behind the EV push, not market demand. When gas vehicles were first being adopted the govt wasn't also outlawing the use of horse and wagon. Hell, in many states it is still perfectly legal to use a horse on public roads. The Amish do it all the...

Stellantis’ new Ram pickup is an EV — with a gas-powered generator in case the battery runs out. The end of the Hemi???

Sure, but charging won't only happen at "off peak" times. People need fuel 24 hours a day. A lot of commercial transportation runs at night, because there is less traffic. Those vehicles are going to be on the road, not charging. Yet again you ignore the issue of where people who aren't...

Stellantis’ new Ram pickup is an EV — with a gas-powered generator in case the battery runs out. The end of the Hemi???

Yeah... electric advocates ignore evidence of the grid already being at max capacity in many places. Just last Xmas we had rolling blackouts in NC due to a cold snap. There isn't much reserve generating capacity left and they sure don't seem to be in much of a hurry to build new powerplants in...

Stellantis’ new Ram pickup is an EV — with a gas-powered generator in case the battery runs out. The end of the Hemi???

A smart move would have been to require everyone installing an EV charger to put it on a separate meter and have that electricity billed at a higher rate, to account for road use. Just like "off road" diesel is taxed differently from regular diesel. That way where ever you charge that govt gets...

new hemi tick video, recommends hellcat oil pump

I find it interesting that "don't idle" or "adjust your idle" are commonly quoted for prevention of cam/lifter failure. Yet I can't help think of all the police cruisers in the country that spend most of their day idling. They don't all destroy engines. IMO the problem is overrepresented...

Stellantis’ new Ram pickup is an EV — with a gas-powered generator in case the battery runs out. The end of the Hemi???

The EV cost advantage will disappear as their adoption spreads. Instead of $300/mo for fuel you'll be paying $500/mo for power. As an early adopter you are saving right now. Of course you also aren't paying road use taxes either, because States haven't figured out a reliable way to charge EV...

Howy - Looking for 2025 Ramcharger Info, Stopping by...

What do you think is going to happen to electricity prices the average consumer pays as EVs gain a larger market share? The "savings" vs gasoline will disappear. Five years ago I was averaging $100/mo for electric. This year the bill averages $125/mo. You'll be paying the equivalent of $5/gal...

    Cybertruck vs RAM 2500

I'd be OK with EVs, if our infrastructure was ready for them. The undeniable truth is its not, and won't be for several decades. Even if the lack of charging stations could be magically solved overnight there simply isn't sufficient electricity generating capacity in the grid to meet demand...

    6.7 engine air filter

Engines in regular cars and trucks don't see duty cycles like marine or industrial engines do. Their continued operation isn't quite so critical either. People generally wait till something breaks versus disassembling things at a certain miles or hours and looking for problems.

    ZF Transmission Fluid

Amazon does a poor job of screening who is selling through them, and the market in general has been absolutely flooded with counterfeit Chinese parts. It's made national news, even hit some of the airlines receiving bad parts for jets. It is absolutely worth the piece of mind to spend a little...

    First oil change

I'm with others in the camp of "let the dealer do the first one". That way if there are any problems they can (hopefully) be spotted right off the bat and handled. Mopar also offers a four oil change package special. You pay for them up front then have three years to use. I've got this on both...

    ZF Transmission Fluid

This guy right here. Absolutely spot on! Caveat emptor, and remember the old adage "If it sounds too good to be true, IT PROBABLY IS." Currently Amazon is the LAST place I'd buy auto parts from.
