Disappointed 2022 2500 CTD
This second leg, about 370 miles towing an empty 6x12 aluminum trailer went smoothly- DEF gauge needle didn’t budge.. i have several types of Deoxit contact cleaners and small brushes. tomorrow I pull the wiring harness plug from the DEF injector pump, clean sll traces of corrosion and reassemble.- NormB

Code cleared, seems to be working but Tech (a perfectionist after my own heart) wants to test injector- requires heating/removal of some bolts from the catalyst chamber where the DEF does its magic. BUT he can’t do it today- outta time. I wanna go home. I’ll risk it. I mean, I know the pump...- NormB

All the green you see is corrosion. Urea being highly corrosive you see. Technician MUST have gotten plug/socket wet when he pulled the pump for testing yesterday at the dealership in Columbia, TN. keeping my fingers crossed.- NormB

Never mind. watched a mind-numbing YouTube video on ot, pulled the fill line, pur 3 foot of 1/4” tygon into tank and didn’t get a drop out. Where did it go? Gauge reads full? Dealership Tech drilled through cylinder head when removing exhaust stud
I JUST did that with my HMMWV. 1990 6.2L diesel. Threaded the hole, plugged with a 6-32 set screw and high-temp thread lock (it's next to the WATER JACKET for cryin' out loud, that's what, 200F ?), put sealant around the manifold stud and put it back together. Runs great. Got a spare set...- NormB
