Oil Filter Thread
On my second 5k OCI interval with FE2 (Fram synthetic Endurance oil filter). No issues, no Hemi tick on 135k engine. This time around using 0w20 QS full synthetic oil. Pressure at idle: 35psi, at 75mph: around 52psi. Just an FYI.- NOV87

Can’t fill my Ram Truck with Gas
Well documented issue, resulting from topping off the tank, no fix from RAM :(. It appears that you may need to have the tank replaced. You can try other components first. Might get lucky. Check this thread https://www.ramforum.com/threads/2018-ram-1500-fuel-tank-fill-issue.183499/- NOV87

Anyone running 285/70 on OEM 17" rims?
I got 285/70/70 Procomp AT sport on Procomp wheels. Inflated at 39psi. Very stable in sharp turns/on ramps/ off ramps. No issues. 2014 RAM 1500 -

New to Trucks - how would you upgrade?
I would: remove and sell the running boards (unless you need them, due to health/age), it'd make the truck look much better. Install a 2" lift ( I'd go with new longer coilovers, to save time/money having a shop assembling them wrong way and longer springs/shocks for the rear)...- NOV87

FRAM filters quality
Back few years ago, FRAM filters were known for flaking fibers of the filtering material. Today I bought one of their filters for V6 RAM in our family. That's the worst one I have seen in a long time. Look at that "peach fuzz" in the second picture. Never mind the oily spots, it's from my...- NOV87

Stupid question
Coil spacers and blocks don"t bring any benefit to the truck. Most likely, you will end up replacing them with something better. Levelling kit with aftermarket rear springs/shocks isn't much more, but a whole lot better. Just MHO -

Best oil and oil filter for a 5.7 Hemi?
Exactly what I do. There's no need to overtighten the filter. Once the rubber gasket is compressed, the opening is sealed. Anything past that is just metal on metal. Should not have to use impact wrench either, but seems like what they use at the factory- NOV87

Best oil and oil filter for a 5.7 Hemi?
Quaker State Full synthetic for my 2014 5.7. 5w30 in the summer, 5w20 in the winter (most of the time temps are above freezing). FRAM XG2 or WIX 57899XP. 5000 miles OCI. Currently at 125k. Wisper quiet engine.- NOV87

Lubegard Bio/Tech and oil combo
This is a poor man's substitute for RL oil. I've used Lubeguard with PUP. Seemed to make the engine quiet. Currently use Quaker State Full synth 5w30 with no additives. The engine runs smooth. 125k.- NOV87
