    15% ethanol

All I have to say is this: 1. Unless you have been purchasing specifically identified 100% gasoline you have been running 10% ethanol blend for years. 2. One needs to include the cost per gallon difference between 10% ethanol and 100% gasoline in your equation. 3. I am at a loss how you arrive...

Those who tow a TT - will gas prices influence your travels?

Maybe drive a little slower. Our plans were made near a year ago. We're not getting any younger and I'm not opposed to spending the kids inheritance.

    2018 Laramie CC 6.4

I have 2018 2500 4x4 with cummins, 6 speed with 50,000 miles. No trouble so far. Milage: 9-12 towing 7-9,000, 15-18 mixed driving.

insight in buying this truck please

I paid 50k for my 2018 Ram Laramie 4x4 2500 with 6,4 cummins with 29,000 miles last year at a dealership. Sounds a little high.

Building a new garage, what do you wish you had...

I built a new garage with 2, 9x7 foot doors and 1, 12x12 foot door. If I had it to do over I would have added another 12 foot bay and made the 2 other bays 10x10 feet instead of 9x7.

    Advise appreciated

I had a 2012 Ram with the 4.7L and towed about that weight. I had air lift 1000 with 25 lbs. and wdh. I only went around 60 mph, and like the others said left room to stop. Through the mountains truck would gear down and just keep going, but hey that's what the 4.7 does. I ran E range tires to...

Does anyone NOT modify their Rams and keep them stock?

Bought truck to use on the farm, keep it stock and easy.

    Vibrations and Noises are normal

2012 Ram 1500 owner. Every truck has it's own "feel" and sound. Vibration, eh nope. If I get a new noise or vibration it's time to see what's going wrong. I will say though, I have wind noise coming from passenger side, just something to put up with. Other than that no noise or vibration.

"What DON'T you like about your 5th Gen RAM"?

Over the years I've had Toyota, GMC, Chevy and Rams. Each had their good and bad. Stayed with Ram for the last 12+ years. The only real complaint I have with gen 4 Ram is the headlights are too dim.

New 27' Trailer First Time Owner

Don't know about your electric brake controller, but mine has a very small thumb wheel in the left corner to control TT braking. Your model may differ, but if you have e-brake, it can be adjusted. In a safe area (trailer connected), and while moving, apply the truck brakes for a normal stop. If...

    Hemi to diesel

I had an '08 2500 4x4, cummins, 6 speed manual. 12 - 13 MPG around town, towing TT, hauling heavy loads, didn't matter 12-13 MPG. At the risk of getting run out of town by all the diesel lovers out there; my diesel didn't like cold winter starts. I couldn't keep it plugged in all the time just...

Looking to buy a TT, feeling a bit overwhelmed...

I tow a 22 foot bumper pull (about 4200#) with a 1500. Many Ram owners may disagree with this, but, mountains are hard on a 1500. Also mileage goes from 17mpg avg. w/o towing to 12-13 towing. So expect huge mpg drop. My wife and I looked at a lot of trailers. After a while we began to see the...

    Canadian Rams Discriminated Against?

I bought my Canadian Ram from a dealership here in Ohio at a great price. The truck was out of warranty with only 50k, and in good shape so I wasn't concerned about the warranty.

My Wife says I have too many Trucks

My wife tells me I have too may tractors, so I bought a backhoe. No it didn't go over well. Looks like you need another truck, hmm flatbed maybe?
