    Truck won't start in park

    I have tried moving it around, has no effect, and sometimes it says it's in drive but is not fully engaged, could this be caused by the same thing too?

    Truck won't start in park

    I own a 97 1500 5.2l 4wd, and whenever I try to start it with the shifter in park it will not even engage, but if I drop it into neutral it starts right up. Anyone know why this happens? Or how to fix it?
