    My truck sounds like an air boat

    The fan clutch in my '16 6.4 seized up in the first year. Before, it only ever kicked on during long, hot towing. Called the dealer who gave me a "its starting to get hot, its normal" speech. I refused that as an answer and got it in. They ended up replacing fan clutch under warranty.

    I recently serviced my trans, flush and filter. Well, by I, I mean the dealer. I dropped it off then picked it up later. I was not born to do be a mechanic. In my younger days I fixed stuff just enough to break them.

    I know my dealer changes it because I look and there is always residual dripping for a day. I recently had them service the transmission and its clear the pan came off.

    Not good for serious towing? I agree with that. But not good for serious trail running? You can't be further from the truth. What trail are you running you can't get by on a tank of gas?

    grit on rear axle

    Scrub it with some purple degreaser, let dry, spray Chemical Guys Bare Bones undercarriage protectant on axle/diff housing & exposed frame areas, thank me later.

    Nothing really to add, but holy ****, you got 50k miles out of stock duracraps? Twice, mine were punctured between the lugs be stinking pebbles. They got tossed before 30k.
