Update on this subject. I checked the tranny fluid in truck before starting up. The level on the dipstick is just below the hot mark. I started the truck and check engine light still on so I shut it down. I disconnected both negative cables from battery for about 5 min. Reconnected and started...- Paul Prince

Thanks to both of you For replying. I will measure what came out later today and adjust accordingly. I’ll get it up to operating temp and check level. The transmission seemed to function as normal (although I didn’t get up to no more than 15 mph). It went into drive and reverse with no funny...- Paul Prince

Good evening folks. Need some help please. I have a 3500 with Cummins and Aisen transmission. I did a fluid and filter change this evening. I will look under the truck tomorrow for the data plate on the transmission and the engine. The transmission dipstick is on the right. I just watched a video that showed the Aisin transmission with the dipstick on the right.- Paul Prince

Good evening. Just recently bought a pre owned 2018 Ram ST 3500 SRW with the 6.7L Cummings. My build sheet says I have the Aisin transmission but I don’t think I have the HO engine. Is that possible?- Paul Prince
