Fass post install
Installed the Fass titanium signature system on my 2004, left the stock filter housing in place but unplugged the stock lift pump. Replacing hubs - did I find another problem?

If the big nut is loose it can move like that. Do you have the unit bearing off already? Did you remove the 4 Allen head bolts from the backside of the unit bearing (might be what you refer to as the hub) and slide that off, with effort and maybe a hammer. If that piece is not off then I... -

Mileage on your 3rd Gen.?
185k 04.5 Cummins, 6 spd, 4x4. Bought new in June 2004. Had limited slip installed in rear after a couple years, and replaced front seats with unit from 2002 1500 to get full power adjustment for drivers side. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk- PhilW55

What did you do to your Gen3 today?
Changed out the fuel sending unit at 185k miles. It was reading lower than the actual level and then suddenly after a few months it just went to empty. Truck is stock. Main reason I was considering an external pump is ease of maintenance/not having to drop the tank if fuel pump had a problem.
