Installed the Fass titanium signature system on my 2004, left the stock filter housing in place but unplugged the stock lift pump. For those that have done this install, what did you do about the fuel heater system on the stock filter housing? Is it an issue?
Also when mounting the pump and...
How much for the PW?
I have a 04.5 SLT w/nv5600 4x4 short bed qc in black, 185k miles and I'm the only owner. No major problems at all. Find one like that and it may be good.
That amount of play in the video may go away when the nut is tightened up. I can't recall on mine how tight it was with the nut removed.

If the big nut is loose it can move like that. Do you have the unit bearing off already?

Decided to just replace sending unit and keep external lift pump. May still get a FASS lift pump mounted on frame near tank.

185k 04.5 Cummins, 6 spd, 4x4. Bought new in June 2004. Had limited slip installed in rear after a couple years, and replaced front seats with unit from 2002 1500 to get full power adjustment for drivers side.

Truck is stock. Main reason I was considering an external pump is ease of maintenance/not having to drop the tank if fuel pump had a problem. Maybe I should ask how reliable is the in tank fuel lift pump? The original lift pump on my truck lasted 175k miles, the replacement went about 5k and it...
I have 2004.5 cummins and it had not had the in-tank lift pump "upgrade", still has the lift pump attached to the filter canister. My fuel level sending unit has been going bad for a while and had not crapped out entirely (was reading low too early and I could only put in 17-20 gal of fuel at...
