66rfe valvebody failure
My 18 is closing in on 90k relatively trouble free miles. We just replaced the solenoid packs in our 2012 1500 at 140k. Is this common enough that I should consider swapping in some new components before experiencing any issues? I don't do a lot of towing and I baby the truck most of the time...- Phylodog

NHTSA finally opens ABS/HCU investigation
After 10 months of listening to that annoying dinging I finally pulled the fuse and shut it up before a 2k mile fishing trip to Canada last month. The red brake light, ABS and TC lights are on all the time but the noise and disruption to the EVIC display are gone. I'm basically giving up on it...- Phylodog

Drag link recall performed without notice - now steering wheel misaligned!
They'd be cutting those welds and correcting it or replacing the parts to make it right. I had my truck aligned at the dealership and found the same issue. I made it a block down the street before turning around and taking it back. Took all of 15 minutes to straighten out the steering wheel.- Phylodog

2017-2018 2500/3500 brake system issues
I'm getting ready for an 1800 mile round trip and would prefer not to listen to the annoying alarm going of for this issue every 15 seconds. Does anyone know which fuse I can pull to silence it? I looked on the lid of the fuse panel and it looked like there may have been a couple possibilities.- Phylodog

Anyone tried the ball joint delete option?
Stumbled across this option on Youtube and hadn't seen it before. I haven't checked mine yet but the steering has been a little wonky and the steering column insert bearing option only made a slight improvement. I've had my 2018 2500 parked for months due to this issue. I fire it up and drive (very carefully) around the country roads to get everything up to operating temp on occasion to hopefully prevent the batteries from dying and to keep everything lubed up. 2018 RAM 2500 ABS module and the Hydraulic Control Unit
I suspect mine is failing as well. It decided to let me know when I was on the interstate in a light rain and went to accelerate/pass. You get some strange looks and some thumbs up when you kick an 8000lb truck sideways at 70mph and somehow manage to stick the landing without losing but a few mph.- Phylodog

Anyone using Wix fuel filters for the 6.7l?

Anyone using Wix fuel filters for the 6.7l?
I ordered a package off of Amazon with a Mopar oil filter but both fuel filters were Wix. The rear filter was exactly like OEM but the front fuel filter looked very different from the OEM. The OEM has an oval opening in the bottom with an O ring, approximately 1" x 1/2". The Wix was wide open...- Phylodog
