Hi,
I'm looking for solutions to the broken seat belt trim piece for the 98-01 club cabs. The ones with the belt retractor mounted directly in the seat.
I need two driver's side trims.
The actual part number would be a help. Sources too. Alternate solutions as well.
Thx,
G.

Does the check engine light come on when you turn the key to RUN before starting it on cold days?
If it doesn’t come on, but does on warm days I’d suggest the computer.

Does the check engine light come on when you try to restart? If it does NOT and then does when it finally starts the pcm is done.

You’ve jammed up the governor by starting it up and putting it in a forward gear first. Start it in neutral and then go to to reverse.
To fix it without doing the fluid again drive it and stuff it into reverse a few times at low speed.
Don’t believe me? Google it.

If the check engine light does NOT come on when you first put the key to ON the ECM is shot.
That self test cycle is a giveaway that the ECM is working.

Doesn't look like Magnum valve covers to me. Looks like old style LA small block covers. Same thing with the alternator. No serpentine belt.
How many valve cover bolts? 5 means its an older style LA motor.
Ignore the air intake Magnum insignia.

Rad cooler is a liquid to liquid cooler. The liquid in the rad is 980 times denser than air so in fact is capable of pulling much more heat from the trans than the same area cooler would be able to do in air.
Run both.

Don't.
Rad cooler pulls out lots of heat and helps warm trans fluid faster on colder days.
The factory always uses the rad cooler and then an external cooler for towing applications. They pay engineers for that advice.

If the check engine light is not lighting up for a short, test period when the key is put to the ON position the ECM is done.
Swap the ASD relay first. Cheap and fast.

The 1992 5.9 gas motors were not Magnums. Only the 5.2s were. If you need engine parts I suggest you ask for the 92 listings. They use TBI like the earlier units.
Any 46RH aka A518 will bolt up. Get a PATC kit to run the lockup and overdrive.
Easy swap.
