    My guess is that you have a broken motor mount. Now, when you start to move, the motor tilts (left or right, depending on which one is broken), and it moves the transmission shift cable. Happened to me in my fathers '67 Ford Country Squire.

    I had a Pontiac that did that many years ago. It was the timing chain. I believe it jumped a tooth. I think valves that should have been open were in fact closed, causing the compression to lock the motor. Replaced the chain and gears and it started right up.

    Buckle the belt. Probably a good idea anyway if you are going to be leaning out. There is always a chance of losing your balance and falling off the seat. Or - put in 4WLow. It won't go into park.

    I would think that you will need to pop that faux wood trim off, put the cup holder back in, than snap the trim back. Just need to be careful not to break the trim getting it off.

    Rear headrest fit on front seat?

    The headrest in the passenger side on my truck is turned around because my wife found that it hit her in the back of the head, drove her crazy. She is short, about 5 ft tall if that helps, No issue for me on my side, so I didn't turn the drivers side around.
