I’ll give it a look as well. From my initial research alpha sounds more powerful but less user friendly. But I will spend more time looking into that as well.
Like I said, I really just want to upgrade my tire sizes. But it seems crazy to spend $130+ bucks on something that can only do that...
I recently added some beefy 325/60/20's to my Ram and was looking to buy something to update my speedometer. I think the truck will shift and run better if I do the update.
My first thought was to just drop the $139.99 on the Rough Country unit...
Has anyone replaced one of these liners before? Hard to see before taking off the tire, but can they be completely changed from the fender well? Or do I need to access any screws from the engine bay requiring removal of parts?
Just snapped some more photos. I honestly don’t think the liner needed trimmed after looking at it. He did have to take some of the metal out on the inner back portion of the quarter panel, but that looks like all that needed to be done.
That’s good to know. The harness is something I never even noticed and it looks like it’s still exposed even with the liner in there.
My buddy brought up a good point, he said he’d be more worried about throwing a rock or piece of metal up into the harness, so the liner might still be a good...
I’ll snap some more pictures tomorrow for you guys. I’d feel better getting another liner and trimming myself as well. I don’t want an electrical issue on my hands.
I ended up covering with some plastic liner and taped to the truck, then used the gorilla tape version of flex seal tape to cover everything up. I feel pretty good with it now.
Really aggressive install on my 2014. Bilstein 2.8 front with TGC 3/4” rear. Just had Fuel Rebel 20x10 -18mm offset wheels installed today with Fuel Gripper AT’s 325/69/20’s.
The installers assured me they would fit with some minor trimming. And they did. However, checking things out after I...
Kyle, I came from a 2011 Tacoma. Ran Billy 5100's, then the first ishock mid travel kit, then to OME. OME was my favorite. Interested in hearing your opinions on the Eibachs vs other options.

Personally I'd stay away from uniball. Had a set of uniball UCA's on my old truck and as far as performance, no issues. But you have to keep them lubed up or they will get crazy noisy. Super annoying squeaks and creeks all the time. After a while dirt finds it's way in and the squeak seems to...
Anyone running these or know anything about them? They appear to be just like the 5100's. Can't find any reviews of these installed on a Ram so figured I'd ask here.
Also saw where Eibach is offering a $50 mail in rebate on a set of 4 of these which makes them tempting, but based on what I've...
