Bluetooth connection issue with Pixel 6 and UConnect

Hey all, I was wondering if anyone has purchased the Google Pixel 6 and had the same issue with connectivity to their UConnect system. It's an unusual problem: I have to keep the phone's charge wire unconnected while starting the truck. If I do, the phone will connect via Bluetooth to...

    iPhone Connects/Disconnects Constantly

I'm not certain if this applies at all to your situation, but: I purchased a Pixel 3a about 18 months ago and had the exact same problems. Tried different cables, but no luck with them until I purchased a good quality usb-c to usb-c cable (it was PD compliant, unlike the others). After that...

    Hemi being discontinuted

ah, but you can't make omelettes without cracking a few eggs.....and Yugo engine blocks....

    Hemi being discontinuted

Yep, those are some of the few challenges they will be facing as we transition. No doubt we will get workarounds until there is a final solution for each and every issue. The switch will not happen overnight, much like the transition from big heavy 70s non-emission v8s to the fuel efficient...

    Hemi being discontinuted

Like I said in the other thread about this, the hybrid (and eventually full electric) is the future at this time. Without a doubt, Chrysler is maneuvering its marketing and future manufacturing to compete with the other brands. It would be suicidal, marketing-wise, if they stood on the...

IS IT TIME 5.7 TO GET DROPPED ???

If this hasn't been introduced to this question (sorry, 10 pages too long for me, lol), then let me put this out there: https://www.gm.com/electric-vehicles https://www.ford.com/trucks/f150/f150-lightning/2022/ "On the Toyota Tundra Electric (Toyota Tundra EV) Introducing the Toyota bZ4X...

Effect of tires on gas mileage

It's been said already: Rolling resistance and tread pattern are the two main contributing factors. Tire design has been an ongoing improvement for a long long time now (since at least the early '50s). Fuel economy is one of the main reasons why. An A/T tire will drop your mpg when...

    Favorite plastic trim shine?

Hey guys, I'm not too huge into the detailing, but I try to keep mine looking like new. One of the things I would like to find/use is a trim shine spray/pump that really glosses up the black trim on my Ram. Something that I can use every other month or so. I came across Griots Garage Tire...

    1500 brake issue

Possibly your master cylinder isn't unloading the pressure off after using the brakes. Proportional valve (do they still have them?). Being both fronts and happening roughly at the same time, that's what it sounds like to me. A failure to release the brake pressure.

    Exhaust, intake, tuner

A lot of times when people ask that type of question, they are really looking for more throttle response than actual hp gains (present gearheads excluded). Like many already said on here: you can't get hp gains without sacrificing mpg. More hp requires more energy, i.e. more gasoline usage...

    Tranny skid.

Nice! Let's see the pan damage. :) Nothing's indestructible. I'd show my two engine pans and two th350 tranny pans from the past, but they are lost to time. I hit one engine pan so hard, it snapped the pump, pickup and put a finger sized hole in the bottom. Olds 350.....it was a stout...

    Tranny skid.

Oh, for certain. It never hurts to put a little more insurance on your pride and joy when you are being extreme with it (i.e. offroading). I would probably do the very same thing. I've punched a couple of TH-350 tranny pans in the past. The steel ones were also no match for a well-placed...

    Tranny skid.

Plastics in the automotive industry are not the plastics you use in home products. I am a 25 year injection molding technician and have been around a multitude of resins. You'd be surprised how durable and almost downright bulletproof some plastics are these days.

    camshaft protection

The ongoing coversation, as translated by Google: -there are more people who drive with 10w60 engine oil ??. I drive it 100000 km and the moror runs super quiet- "Not that I know with the Hemi. 10W60 is way too thick for the MDS system to work. 5W40 is probably the max. Many of us use 5W30...
